You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.The Media Buying Solutions business is focused on offering top agencies and large, sophisticated media buyers integrated and streamlined solutions to support them in growing their online media activities through better technology. As Lead MBS Nordics, you will be responsible for driving our relationships with the largest agency holding groups in the Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden) - driving integrated deals with key clients across our suite of buy-side products, including the DoubleClick Adserving and Rich Media solutions, and the DoubleClick Bid Manager demand side platform. You will need to lead your team in working closely with clients to identify new opportunities and grow their businesses across our integrated technology stack. You will also need to work in close cooperation with Google’s media sales and agency teams to drive holistic technology and media deals. You are with deep expertise in online advertising, ad serving (including Rich Media), and buying platforms. In addition, this position requires strong leadership skills in guiding the team in transitioning from product to solution selling.You would be a senior sales leader with a background in online agency and advertiser solutions, or technology sales. A proven track record to generate sales, and lead teams is key. Connections / network in the industry would be a major plus, including global decision-makers and influencers. Ambitious, driven and disciplined. Strong interpersonal skills & presentation abilities, analytical and data driven. Responsibilities: Increase revenue by growing Google’s relationships with key current online advertisers, and identify and acquire new clients within the less penetrated segments of your marketplace.Work closely with your team to identify, engage and acquire new business and considerable product upsells across the region.Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for development and proactively creating new systems and structures.Thought leadership / strategic contributor to the senior management team at Google, and senior partner with key multidisciplinary stakeholders, both external and internal, including Marketing, Engineering and Product Development to ensure global consistency.Be an expert on rich media advertising, applications within agency and advertiser environments, competitive landscape and key players/personalities in the field. Minimum qualifications: BA/BSc degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience) Preferred qualifications: Broad experience as a sales leader in charge of high-calibre teams, with a strong focus on coaching and mentoring. Demonstrated success developing team members is essential.Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with all teams, including sales, marketing, business development, and product management.Experience and strong understanding of the Nordics online advertising industry including profound knowledge of the underlying technology, major companies, and research.Strong familiarity with online media buying and selling processes and a thorough understanding of the programmatic buying landscape and how the DoubleClick Ad Exchange fits in.Considerable experience and success devising breakthrough plans to win new business, as well as maintaining and developing complex, high-value managed accounts, through the utilisation of a consultative selling approach.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and consistently deliver against committed deadlines.
