  The Internal Auditor is responsible for carrying out and reporting on the quality of controls across the Nasdaq OMX global exchange. Their projects span across all areas that create risk- operations, finance, regulatory, technology, M&A, clearing etc. Internal Audit reports directly into the Audit Committee who are independent Directors. Carrying out audits consists of planning, interviews, assessing controls and procedures, testing controls and procedures, developing smart control recommendations and finally reporting the findings.   The Internal Audit function is systematically evaluating: Adequacy and effectiveness of internal control Compliance with laws, regulations, strategy, policies, principles, plans and decisions Achievement of set objectives Adequacy and reliability of operational and financial informationAppropriate, efficient and effective use of resources Adequacy and functionality of back-up systems and procedures Safeguarding of assets, personal and dataAs Internal Auditor you will gain a thorough understanding of the management of the company, the internal control framework and the major processes. You report to top management and to the Audit Committee/Board of Directors. The work is performed in close cooperation with the Executive Team and the External Auditors   Qualified candidates should have: University degree in Business AdministrationAt least 3 years experience from External Audit or extensive experience from Internal Audit at larger corporation with a substantial Internal Audit function Excellent language skills in written and spoken English Computer skills in Microsoft Office Experience from the financial sector and/or project accounting organizations is preferred  To suit this position you have strong personal drive and self-motivation and enjoys being in an auditorial role. You are persistent in solving complex problems and have an analytical and result-oriented approach. You also need to be highly organized, able to multi-task and switch priorities quickly.Furthermore, you have excellent communication and team working skills.   This is a permanent full time position located in Stockholm.
